Location on Arada
According to this fictitious map the Giant Panda would live in the deciduous forest region (bright green) on the Valimor continent. This region would be a good location for the Giant Panda because it already lives in the mountainous deciduous forest in China. The Giant Panda's main source of food, bamboo, is also found in these types of areas in the real world.

Environmental Changes
The planet starts out in an ice age at 13 degrees Celsius. It gradually gets warmer with different continents splitting up. Different land formations are formed. Most of the hotter biomes start to concentrate toward the equator. This makes the equator have the hottest water surrounding it and the hottest climate. The sea levels start off dropping and by the end they have risen. By the end of the period it is 20 degrees Celsius and all continents are separated except for Kalorme and Orcarnia and the volcanic activity has returned to normal. As the biomes changed and were in different locations the climate in those areas changed as well. The more tropical the biome the hotter the land and water around it was. The more artic the biome the cooler the land and water around it was.
Impact on Other Organisms
Since the environments
and climates were always changing during this period all the organisms would
have to be able to adapt. Luckily for the Giant Panda it found a plant that it
could include in its diet as its prey known as bamboo. Bamboo is a very fast
growing plant and a very hard plant to get rid of meaning that it could be
found in many different biomes making the Giant Panda have easy access to any
food anywhere they needed it. Also all other organisms had to, with all the
changes that happened around them, do the “Survival of the Fittest”. This is
where species compete within their environment and whoever has the most
desirable traits are able to survive and repopulate to allow more organisms to
move from biome to biome to adapt.
